REAL Scholars Founder

Ms. Talethe Collins is a 2012 graduate of LHS. Talethe obtained her BA Degree in 2016 at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a declared major in Political Science and minor in Nonprofit Leadership Studies.

 

During that time, she also earned her credential as a Certified Nonprofit Professional with the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance. Previously, she served as the Education Programs Coordinator for UA Little Rock Children International, a non-profit organization. The agency was established in 1994 as a partnership between  the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Children International – a Kansas City based nonprofit organization. While residing in California, Talethe expanded her career serving as the Program Coordinator for Reading to Kids, a grassroots nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles County.

 

While finishing her Master's Degree online in Public Administration at Arkansas State University of Jonesboro, Talethe proudly founded the R.E.A.L. Scholars Program to give back to her hometown of Marianna, Arkansas.

Ceretha Robinson

Mrs. Ceretha Robinson is an LHS 2001 Alumni; graduating Lee Senior High School in Marianna, Arkansas and enlisted in the Armed Forces- Army (National Guard). Obtaining a Business Management Certification while attending Arkansas State University- ASU-Jonesboro, she began a career in Finance; relocating to Texas. After 6 successful years of military duty, Ceretha was awarded an Honorable Discharge of Service.

 

Ceretha is the Co-Founder of Alliance of Elite Youth Leadership (AEYL); a community-based organization in McKinney, Texas offering a multitude of services for the purpose of community and economic development throughout Collin County.

Ceretha E. Robinson, President & CEO of CR Professions, LLC, also serves as a Certified Business Manager with accreditations as a Certified Payroll Professional, Certified Bookkeeping Professional, Notary Signing Agent and a Certified Life and Business Coach. 

Amyre - Treasurer

Mrs. Amyre Williams is an LHS 2003 Alumni; graduating Lee Senior High School in Marianna, Arkansas. She obtained a BA Degree in 2007 at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a declared major in Political Science and minor in Sociology. While attending UA Little Rock, she also became a proud member of Epsilon Phi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Amyre also earned a Master's Degree in Public Administration and Management with the University of Phoenix.

In previous community outreach, Amyre has volunteered for Our House, supported fundraising for Women Shelters, and read aloud financial literacy books to elementary scholars in the Central Little Rock areas.

Mrs. Williams has 14+ years of experience serving for a financial institution serving various consumers.

Mr. Daniel Perry attended Lee Senior High School in Marianna, AR graduating in 2012. He then went on to attend the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff as a USDA-1890 Scholar where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Economics with a Minor in Business Administration in 2016.

 

After graduation, Daniel started working for the USDA-National Agricultural Statistics Service as an Agricultural Statistician in Little Rock, Arkansas.

 

Mr. Perry is also a first generation row crop farmer and Co-Founder of DAB Farm Partnership based in Marianna, Arkansas.
